General Information about the scholarships
The Netherlands Scholarships Programme is an excellent opportunity for ambitious international students who wish to study in one of our world-class universities.
The scholarship offers a full, fee-free scholarship to international students from outside Europe who want to pursue their Master’s degree at one of the participating Dutch universities. Through these programmes, you will become part of a selective group of high performing and highly motivated students.
Our scholarships are intended for ambitious international applicants with high academic qualifications (such as an average grade over 80% or a GPA above 3.0) and outstanding motivation. If you believe that you meet these criteria, apply now!
Things you should keep in mind while applying
The most important thing you should keep in mind while applying for a Netherlands scholarship is that you should focus on being yourself and telling your unique story. The experts are only interested in who you are as a person, and not just in grades or test scores alone.

You will be awarded scholarships if your application is honest and original; from there, it’s up to you to prove that with your work ethic and professional success (or potential). If you do a good job of expressing what makes you different from everyone else, they will notice – that these professors have seen hundreds of applications!
They want to award scholarships to those students who exhibit passion, dedication, and grit – all of which can be identified by words used in an essay. Be concise but thorough.
